Boca Raton businessman Joseph Bensmihen knows what it’s like to want something passionately. Canadian-born Bensmihen overcame cerebral palsy to become a successful leader in the local business community.

He started and currently runs two successful businesses and went on to found the David Bensmihen Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The purpose of this foundation is to provide scholarships to worthy candidates in need of financial assistance.

The David Bensmihen Charitable Foundation is named after Joseph’s father, David. David Bensmihen fought to gain access for his son, Joseph, to public educational facilities. That effort enabled Joseph to get a quality education and inspired him to help others to get educational oppotunities they otherwise might not get.
